A1Zap is a consumer messaging platform designed for group conversations between people and AI agents. Users can drop AI chatbots, tools and mini-apps into group chats, and anyone can create and share their own, from digital twins to campus tools and games, without needing to write code.
The app is built by A1Base, a Y Combinator company (Winter 2025 batch) that also offers an API giving AI agents their own phone numbers and email addresses. A1Zap's CEO, Pasha Rayan, co-founded the company with a fellow UNSW Sydney graduate and previously co-founded Forage.
A1Zap is available on iOS and Android and is aimed at students, campuses and local communities.
