Arintra automates medical coding for US hospitals and physician groups. Its platform reads clinical documentation inside the electronic health record and assigns the codes needed for billing (E/M levels, CPT, ICD-10, HCC and HCPCS, with modifiers), flags documentation gaps and prepares payer-specific claims, without changing how physicians work.
The company was founded in 2020 by Nitesh Shroff (CEO) and Preeti Bhargava (CTO), both of whom hold PhDs in AI. It is headquartered in San Francisco and also has an office in Austin, Texas.
In August 2025 Arintra raised a $21 million Series A led by Peak XV Partners to expand from coding into broader revenue assurance for health systems.
