AutoGrab is an automotive data platform. It helps dealerships, insurers, lenders, fleet operators and marketplaces identify a vehicle, work out what it is worth now and see where its value is heading, using real-time valuations, sourcing tools, history checks and market analytics. It also runs consumer products including CarAnalysis and Valuemycar.
Founded in Melbourne in 2020 by co-CEOs Daniel Werzberger and Chris Gardner, AutoGrab says its platform is used by more than 1,000 Australian dealerships and by around 90% of Australian motor insurers for total-loss settlements. It also operates in the UK, New Zealand and Malaysia, with an office in London.
In January 2026 AutoGrab raised A$80 million in a round led by Octopus Ventures and Movac to expand in the UK and Europe. During 2026 it also extended coverage to motorbikes, caravans and heavy commercial vehicles.
