me&u makes software for hospitality venues. Its products cover QR-code order and pay, payments, staff upsells, loyalty, a guest CRM for email and SMS marketing, and a reservations system with voice AI for phone bookings. Customers include restaurants, pubs and bars, cafes, hotels and event venues.
The company in its current form came out of a merger between two former rivals: Mr Yum, founded in Melbourne in 2018 by Kim Teo and Adrian Osman, and Sydney's me&u. The merger was completed in November 2023. The combined business kept the me&u name, and Kim Teo became CEO.
me&u operates in Australia, the United States and the United Kingdom. In 2026 it said it handled more than a million orders a week across over 6,000 venues. The same year it launched me&u Reservations, which brings bookings, phone enquiries and functions management into one product.
