MiLaboratories makes software for computational biology. Its main product, Platforma, turns sequencing data into analysis that supports decisions in biologics discovery. It offers ready-made workflows for antibody discovery, immune research, translational research and multiomics. Platforma can be deployed on a desktop, a server, HPC clusters or a private cloud, and an SDK lets teams build their own analysis blocks.
The company's roots are in MiXCR, an open-source tool for analysing T-cell and B-cell receptor sequencing that its founding scientists created in 2013. MiXCR became widely used for immune repertoire profiling. MiLaboratories launched Platforma in March 2024, and academic and non-profit researchers can use it free.
MiLaboratories is headquartered in San Francisco and runs an R&D office in Bilbao, Spain. In October 2024 it announced a Series A led by Madrid-based Kfund.
