Plum Guide is a holiday rental platform that lists only homes that pass its own vetting, known as the Plum Test. The test covers details such as beds, Wi-Fi, water pressure, kitchen equipment, design and how well the host runs the home. Plum Guide now uses AI to assess most homes against these criteria, and experts review them before they are listed.
The company launched in London in 2016. It lists tens of thousands of homes across Europe, North America and other regions. Through Plum Guide ForBusiness it also offers its curation technology and inventory to hotels, financial services companies and other partners.
Plum Guide has recently added distribution partnerships. It teamed up with KEY.co in December 2025, and in January 2026 its homes became bookable through Chase Travel, where it is the exclusive provider of homes in Chase's The Edit collection.
