Streamkap offers real-time data pipelines as a managed service. It uses change data capture to pick up inserts, updates and deletes from databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL and MongoDB and delivers them with sub-second latency to destinations such as Snowflake, BigQuery and Databricks, as a streaming alternative to batch ETL tools.
The platform runs on Apache Kafka and Flink, so customers get streaming infrastructure without operating it themselves. It includes more than 60 connectors, in-flight transformations and schema-drift handling, and can be deployed as SaaS, in the customer's own cloud, or through the Snowflake Marketplace.
Streamkap was founded in June 2022 by Paul Dudley and Ricky Thomas, who previously worked together at London analytics company Avora. It describes itself as a UK-US company and lists its headquarters in San Francisco.
