Switchboard is a cloud platform for integrating supply chain systems. It uses a universal data model and parser to standardise EDI and API connections between suppliers, retailers and third-party logistics providers, so orders, inventory and shipping documents can move between trading partners automatically instead of by email and manual re-entry.
The platform connects with systems including SAP, Oracle, Amazon, Shopify, Xero, Odoo, Cargowise and Unleashed. It is aimed in particular at small and mid-sized businesses that have often been priced out of traditional integration projects.
Switchboard was founded in Sydney in August 2022 by Hugh Dixson, who previously worked at Ofload and Uber. In 2024 it raised $1.5 million from investors including Investible, Skalata, Startmate and TEN13.
