Tixel is a secondary ticketing marketplace for concerts, festivals, sport and other live events. Fans who can no longer attend an event can resell their tickets to other fans, with resale prices capped relative to what was originally paid, tickets checked for fraud when they are listed, and a guarantee for buyers.
Rather than competing with event organisers, Tixel works with promoters, venues and primary ticketing platforms as an official resale partner. It says more than 90% of tickets listed on the platform sell within four days.
Tixel was started in Melbourne by Zac Leigh and Jason Webb after they were sold fake tickets to a Tame Impala show, and entered the Australian market in 2018. It has since worked with events in the UK and launched in the United States in June 2025.
