Treinta makes a mobile and web app that helps micro and small businesses run their operations. It began as a digital ledger for recording sales, expenses and customer debts, and now also covers point of sale, inventory, supplier and customer management, financial reports and electronic invoicing.
The company says more than 7 million businesses use Treinta, mostly in Latin America, with users across Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Brazil, Chile and other countries in the region, as well as the United States. In 2025 it launched idealane, an AI tool that lets business owners build websites, apps and automations by describing them in plain language.
Treinta was founded in Bogotá in 2020 by Lluis Canadell and Man Hei Lou and went through Y Combinator's Winter 2021 batch.
